This project was based around a graduation ceremony for M-Academy which was done in late 2019 while working for Main Event Entertainment Group Limited.

The first thing to be created was the flyer/poster for the event.

This is the first iteration of the poster. The main color associated with the organization is blue. I decided to use the main color as a staple and then to accentuate it with a darker color to bring about contrast and adding various elements such as truss and stages to represent what is being done at the organization. It was unsure at the time on where to justify the information whether right, left or a central justification in which I ended up doing a mixture of both.

Re-imagining the design, I decided to go towards a darker approach while still keeping a few aspects from the first design such as the stage. With a lot of negative (empty) space to work with, I thought it easier to make a simplistic design that would also grab the attention of viewers; this was done by using various accent colors such as a bright orange and also white to contrast the black and stand out. This time around it was also decided to have a centralized design.

The idea of a mixture of justifications somewhat stuck to me in the thought process of this project leading me to re-visit a mixed justification of the various elements. The main pieces of the second design stuck around.

At the end of the design process it was decided that the second design would prove to be the best choice.
